Pr. Kamya Emmanuel
A righteous man is he who is morally upright and completely living according to the will of God.
Psalm 34:18-19,
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart And saves such as have a contrite spirit.19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.” This scripture assures us of God’s deliverance unto he who is righteous.
God is looking for a man who has surrendered his heart towards him. A man who is repentant and ready to change.
Today many are the people who desire to see God but there is a heart that will not see God no matter how much time you spend in church. Mathew 5:8,
“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.”
Our readiness to change and do the will of God is what God requires of us.
2Chronicles 16:9,
“for the eyes of the Lord, run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
God is always near to the righteous man who is going through trials and challenges. The challenges you face in life do not mean God has abandoned you.
Psalm 46:1-3,
“God is our refuge and strength, Avery present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth is removed, And though the mountains are carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling.”
Why does the righteous man face the challenges
- God always wants to prove Himself that He is at work in our lives.
Psalm 73:1-3 shows us how the wicked prospers in their ways. Though they prosper, their prosperity should not cause us to go back to the world no matter the pain. Though Daniel was thrown in the den of lions, he did not forsake God, it is out of that challenge that God appeared to rescue him and thereafter, he was promoted.
There is no shortcut on the way to victory in life. Through the challenges, don’t complain, remain faithful, trust, and believe in God eventually your testimony will come through. Child of God your joy is in that challenge your facing today. That situation is part of your journey to the breakthrough you need in life.
Whatever it is will come to an end and God will become Almighty in your life.
Stand, pray and don’t turn back but move forward.
Ignore what people say, listen and take heed to what God is speaking to you.
Romans 8:37,
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
The above scripture tells us that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Along the way, you may cry but God is faithful and victory will come your way.
Unto the righteous man, challenges are good because it is through them that God shows Himself so strong.
Also, the way you behave through the challenges you face shows your level of maturity in life. A mature person does not run away from problems, complaints, or blame others but they solve them.
Lastly know that every righteous man will always have challenges but God will always deliver them.
