People have confessed to Christ, however, Christ’s leadership in their lives has failed to take control why? Because there are many loopholes people have left which the devil uses to fulfill his evil purposes through deception.
One of the ways the devil establishes his lies in our lives is through the use of Fear and Worry.
Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm while worry is the state of being anxious and troubled over actual or potential problems.
The devil uses lies to exalt himself in people’s lives so that they can fear and worship him. Job 3:25 shows us the danger of fear, “For the thing, I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.”
Fear produces doubt in people’s lives. The existence of doubt in your life is a sign that you doubt God’s ability in your life. Whenever you come before God with doubt in your heart, you affirm that what you want from God doesn’t exist.
Fear blinds you spiritually and causes you to miss out on God’s presence.
In Matthew 6:25-34, the bible cautions us against worrying about days, food, clothing because God knows us and will take care of us much more than He even does for the lilies in the valley. The bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and whatever we want will be added to us
A person’s life must not be controlled by fear. Whenever God’s word isn’t established in one’s life, they easily waiver.
1 John 4:4 tells us that Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world, but because to some of us Jesus is only on the lips but not in our hearts we have been overcome.
When you know and understand that Jesus who promised to be with you through every situation is faithful, your trust will be in Him thus you won’t be shaken by any situation.
Brethren be alert and know that the lies the devil is feeding you are to cause you to miss out on your destiny.
When you enter into the life of Faith, you start to experience the joy of the Lord and see His ability in your life. The things we think of as great are not great before God.
We have often neglected the important things and concentrated on the non-essentials. Brethren let us not be worried about the earthly things but take extra caution to the spiritual things which have control over our lives. Mathew 6:33-34, But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
The devil has lied to so many that every day will be as bad as the previous one and yet God prepared testimony for every new day. Instead of worrying, command into existence what you want in your day.
Brethren, let us have this opportunity that God has given us to jump out of every lie we have been living in.
1 Samuel 9:5, When they had come to the land of Zuph, Saul said to his servant who was with him, “Come, let us return, lest my father ceases caring about the donkeys and become worried about us.”
Many times we think of things like blessings, marriage, and prosperity as non-existent in our lives yet they are there. We need to undress every lie in our lives.
Some of us seek God because we anticipate problems and so we want Him to block them, we need to stop this type of fearful prayer. When we encounter problems, we are meant to go through them and come out victorious if we push on and not let fear stop us. (1 Samuel 9:5-6, 10:1)
Psalms 37:4-7, Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
Joy isn’t found in possessions but having God in your life for He owns it all.
Wait patiently on the Lord, rejoice for those He has blessed before you because He has your great portion ready for you.
Avoid praying in fear, worry and seek the Lord & you’ll see His manifestation in your life.
