PR. KAMYA EMMANUEL
The will of God is in His Word. And the promises of God are in His will. Our deliverance is in the will of God but how you appear before the Lord will also always determine your healing.
When you discover the will of God in your life, it will be easy for you to pray. We also need to conduct our lives in the will of God.
Luke 22:39-43, 39 Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him. 40 When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” 43Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
In the above scripture, Jesus discovered the will of God which prompted Him to make this prayer; saying; “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done.”
You might be having challenges before you but they are in the will of God that you may reach the measure/level God requires of you. The victory you need has a price attached to it.
The scriptures say that God sent an angel to strengthen Jesus in prayer. This is because Jesus was praying in the will of God.
Crying and complaining are not in the will of God. When we pray in the will of God, He gives us grace, strengthens and makes us overcome through the Holy Spirit because we are walking in His will. The situation before you is what carries your testimony, that burden you’re carrying has the joy ahead of it.
James 4:3, You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
Today some people make prayers that are directed to themselves for example; Deliver that people may know that being born again, am highly anointed. Such prayers are not in the will of God because they contain pride and will not be heard. That is why we pray and don’t overcome because we don’t pray in the will of God.
Child of God apart from praying in the will of God, it is also very important to examine ourselves in the areas below;
- Are your friends in the will of God?
- Are your works or acts in the will of God?
- Is your business in the will of God?
In Isaiah 36:1, we see Sennacharib who boosted against the Lord, mocked and abused the people. However, amidst the mockery, the decree was for them to be silent and pray in the will of God.
Brethren, there are times we need to stand and be silent amidst challenging situations before the Lord. You might be financially bankrupt and going through difficult times but all you need is to stand still that God may do His will in your life.
Isaiah 37:7, Prophet Isaiah encourages the servants of King Hezekiah not to be afraid of the words that are being spoken unto them.
Today what hinders people from praying in the will of God is fear. Brethren, you should also be careful and mindful of rumours and gossip which kill marriages, friendships. Gossip is an evil spirit that comes from hades and is not in the will of God.
The power to see you through that situation is in the will of God.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God does nothing Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
Your responsibility is to stand and pray in the will of God. When God reveals to us His secrets, our responsibility is to pray in the will of God that what has been revealed might be manifested.
When you pray in the will of God, at the end in every situation, he reveals His will.
God bless you.
