PR. KAMYA EMMANUEL
Romans 10:10 shows us the power that lies in confession; we believe Christ in our hearts but only when we confess do, we receive salvation. Our confessions establish in the physical what is on the inside.
When the devil has held over your mind and thoughts, he then moves on to make you confess what is on the inside so that it can be established in your life. Mathew 12:34, Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Proverbs 18:20-21, A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips, he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
What you confess will either bring you victory or failure.
Jesus left us with power, but this power is in the mouth, whatever we want to bind or lose is done through our confessions. (Mathew 16:19)
Many people have founded altars, associations on which they make evil confessions against different people. The devil has used such kinds of people to destroy people’s relationships, families through what they say. But at the end of the day, these people also can never receive any good in their lives since they are under the service of the devil.
Whatever you confess upon yourself is what will come to you whether good or bad.
What are you confessing in this pandemic period? Don’t let the enemy use you to fulfill His plans in your life.
Evil confessions show that you’re nolonger capable and have no hope of the future.
In Job 2:1-10, the devil asked God to remove the hedge around Job claiming that he was only faithful to God because of His protection. God gave the devil power over Job’s flesh and the devil afflicted him with terrible boils that his wife got to an extent and told him to curse God and die.
The devil uses sickness to afflict people’s lives, many people have fallen away from God trying to seek other remedies instead of clinging onto God.
The choice is yours, to either be used by God or the devil. No matter how he was afflicted, Job refused to sin with his lips. Job 2:9-10, Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die!” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
Revelation 12:11, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
Praying without God’s word makes no difference in your life. We are sanctified by the truth in God’s word which leads us to victory. (John 17:17)
When you understand the power in your words, the devil will not be able to trick you.
Never allow the situation before you to undress you of God’s power and truth in your life. Faith is confessed, the forgiveness of sin is received through confession.
Ephesians 4:29-31, Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice
Every time we confess evil, we hinder the power of God to work in our lives even though God is ready to work for us.
Let us give God an opportunity to work in us through praying a prayer filled with confession of God’s greatness and power in us.
God bless you
